Make Space in Your Pantry, Help Your Neighbors

Due to the effects of the economy and supply chain issues, food banks are working harder than ever to serve our neighbors and friends in need.

Do you want to help?

Take 15 minutes to go through your kitchen pantry and pull out anything you can spare or no longer need.

What’s Needed

Look for unopened items in good condition, not expired and labeled with ingredients.

  • Canned foods

  • Food in boxes

  • Packaged dry beans, Pasta, Rice

  • Snack bars

  • Peanut butter

  • Shelf-stable beverages

Ridwell is having a food drive, donating to a few local charities. Even if you don’t subscribe to Ridwell, you can donate directly to your local food bank. A quick google search will help you locate a drop-off location near you.

Monetary donations are also always appreciated as this is the main way food banks stock their pantries.

Do a little culling and sharing today! A bit of external motivation is always useful to help follow through on something that ends up being good for us also.
