Celebrating Little Libraries

on Sep 20, 2022

As Professional Organizers we love to find ways to repurpose and rehome items our clients no longer need or use. Little Free Library — a non-profit organization with a mission to build community, inspire readers and expand book access to all — is an excellent way to share books you no longer need with your neighbors. With over 150,000 little free libraries throughout the world, we celebrate this amazing resource. Here are a few of our favorite little libraries in our neighborhood.

This one was made to match the house.
This one has a solar powered battery. The light shines at night.
This one also is made to match the house.
This Little Library is just a gallery. Do you see that it is locked to keep things safe? Beside it, rests the “Art Exchange Library.”

We only wish there was something like this for other categories in the home – “Little Free Mugs”, “Little Free Kitchen Tools” or “Little Free Tchotchkes” anyone!
