I’m ready to start, how does it work?

We start with a phone conversation to give me a sense of the type and scope of your organizing needs. Usually our first appointment together is a 1.5-hour Needs Assessment meeting where we write up an organizing plan of action. Once you have the written plan, you can either tackle the projects yourself or have me come back and work with you to do them.

Is our work confidential?

Absolutely! We respect that you’ve invited me into your very private space of home or work and we uphold our industry’s confidentiality policy and code of ethics.

How long does it take?

That depends on the size of your project and how quickly you can make decisions. Very small projects can be accomplished in a day; others may take several sessions spread out over weeks or months.

How much does it cost?

Costs vary widely depending on the project. We can provide estimates for your project after discussing the specifics with you and are always happy to discuss ways to make the project fit your budget. We offer packages of time, payment plans and straight hourly rates for individual or team organizing. We accept cash, check, and all major credit cards.

What is a Certified Professional Organizer (CPO)?

CPO certification is a voluntary, industry-led effort that benefits the public and members of the organizing profession. CPO certification recognizes those professionals who have met specific minimum qualifications and proven through examination and client interaction to possess the body of knowledge and experience required for certification. The program recognizes and raises industry standards, practices, and ethics.

What resources do you offer clients?

Probably one of the most valuable resources we offer is knowing a variety of recycling and reuse places to take things clients’ don’t want in order to keep them out of landfill. Shopping resources to find and purchase storage solutions to fit clients’ style and budget. In addition, we provide clients with reliable referrals to numerous other types of businesses to meet their other needs.
